Medikraft
Application Process
At MediKraft, we are committed to working exclusively with reputable and accredited international medical schools. To ensure that we maintain the highest standards for our students, all our affiliated universities undergo a continuous vetting process. This process evaluates their accreditation status, teaching facilities, curriculum quality, and overall standard of education.
Because of this ongoing review, we are unable to provide a fixed or predetermined list of institutions in advance. Instead, we align with the annual release of the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) accredited medical schools list to guarantee that every option presented to our students meets the required standards.
Please note:
Once your application has been successfully processed and you are accepted, the medical school itself will contact you directly.
At this stage, you will have the opportunity to research the institution thoroughly and, if you wish, initiate direct contact with the university for further clarity.
MediKraft serves as a central applications office, bridging the gap between students and international medical schools. Our role is to simplify and streamline the application and admissions process, providing guidance and support at every stage.
Thanks to our established relationships and many years of collaboration with leading medical schools, students applying through MediKraft enjoy a higher rate of admission success. This is because we are able to motivate applications on behalf of our candidates, ensuring that each student’s strengths and potential are effectively presented.

Two Application Options
We offer two pathways for applicants.
Option 1: Standard Application (R750)
- Submit your application with Grade 11 or Matric results.
- Your results will be reviewed by our admissions team.
- If approved, you will receive a Provisional Acceptance Letter from MediKraft.
- You must provide updated academic results until you matriculate so we can monitor your progress.
- Upon matriculating, submit your final Matric results. If you meet or maintain the minimum requirements, your application will be eligible for final approval.
- If successful, you will receive a Final Acceptance Letter from MediKraft confirming that one of our partner universities has accepted you. Shortly after, the university will contact you directly with their official acceptance letter.
Important Notes
- Medicine is a highly competitive degree. While acceptance is possible, we cannot guarantee a seat through this pathway.
- Some applicants may be required to attend an interview as part of the admissions process.
- All communication after acceptance will involve the university directly, with MediKraft supporting you throughout the process.
Option 2: Guaranteed Acceptance (R35 000)
- This option provides certainty by securing your seat at one of our partner universities, provided you meet our minimum academic requirements.
- Indicate your interest in the Guaranteed Acceptance option when completing the application form.
- Our admissions team will review your results. If eligible, you will be notified by email.
- Upon confirmation, you will be required to make the R35 000 payment.
- Once payment is received, MediKraft will issue you a Final Acceptance Letterconfirming your secured place. The university will then contact you directly with their official acceptance letter.
If applying with Grade 11 results:
- Your application will be assessed and, if successful, you will receive a Provisional Guaranteed Acceptance Letter.
- A seat will be reserved for you for the intake following your matriculation.
- No further academic progress reports will be required until your final Matric results are available.
- Once final results are submitted, and if minimum requirements are maintained or met, you will receive a Final Acceptance Letter from MediKraft.
Please Note:
- There is no interview process required for this pathway.
-
With the Guaranteed Acceptance pathway, applicants undergo only a single vetting process. This eliminates additional interviews or repeated evaluations, providing a smoother, more assured route
-
With Guaranteed Acceptance, your place is secured — “We keep a seat with your name on it.”
Conditions:
- If you do not meet the minimum academic requirements upon matriculation, unfortunately, your guaranteed acceptance fee (R35 000) will be forfeited.
Whether you choose the Standard Application or the Guaranteed Acceptance option, MediKraft is with you every step of the way, ensuring guidance, transparency, and support throughout your journey to medical school.
