Curriculum

Please note that, as we work with a range of accredited medical universities, each institution may follow its own specific academic structure and curriculum. Therefore, it is not possible to present a single, fixed curriculum applicable to all. The framework outlined below is intended as a general guideline, reflecting the academic progression followed by most of our partner universities. The exact and detailed curriculum of the specific university offering admission will be provided directly to the student upon acceptance.

The below syllabus is to ensure and train the candidate to be competent for any qualifying tests of developed countries viz. UK, SOUTH AFRICA, US , INDIA etc.

The course is of 5 years duration, in phased manner (I, II & III) divided into 10 Semesters of 6 Months each.

Preclinical (I MBBS) – 2 Semesters

Modules:

  • Anatomy
  • Physiology
  • Biochemistry

Passing Criteria: Passing all subjects both practical and theory is a must before proceeding to the paraclinical semesters

Paraclinical (II MBBS) – 3 Semesters

Modules:

  • Pharmacology
  • Microbiology
  • Pathology
  • Forensic Medicine

Passing Criteria: Passing all the paraclinical subjects both practical and theory is a must before sitting for third professional examination

Clinical (III MBBS) – 5 Semesters

Modules:

  • Ophthalmology
  • Otorhinolaryngology
  • Community Medicine
  • Paediatrics
  • Orthopaedics
  • General Medicine
  • Obstetrics and Gynaecology

Passing Criteria: Passing of all clinical subjects both practical and theory is mandatory for successful completion of the course and for award of the degree.

Internship

The course of five years will be followed by a compulsory rotating Internship. The foreign students shall do their internship in their respective country of origin on their own.

Professional Registration

After internship, the graduates can register in any country of their domicile by meeting the requirements of the respective professional regulatory body.
